Paul Murphy

Paul Murphy directed the Players last production, Dinner with Friends. He has previously appeared on stage at Concord as Drake in Honk!, Curly in Oklahoma!, and Gerald in An Inspector Calls. This past fall, he performed the role of Cliff in QP's production of Cabaret, and recently played the role of Nathan in the Newton Country Player's production of Guys and Dolls. Other favorite roles include Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies (Arlington Friends), Pirate King in the Pirates of Penzance (Footlight Club), the Inspector in Mousetrap(QP), and Count Gregor in Fools (QP), Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew (QP), and Frank in Wonderful Town (Arlington).

Locally, Paul has directed The All Night Strut (QP), The Last Night of Ballyhoo (QP), You Can't Take It With You (QP), and The Fantasticks (Arlington Friends). He has twice received EMACT recognition for his direction.
