John Murtagh

So far this year (1997), John's been involved with an average of 2 shows per month -- and he's booked through December with five more shows! (He'll probably add a few more between now and then.) Previous stage appearances include Sly Fox at Arlington Friends of the Drama and The Madwoman of Chaillot with the Players

John is a founding member of Second Stage Theatre Company. He is also involved with thirteen different theatres in the Metro Boston Area in many capacities including stage manager, actor, director, choreographer, props and design work.

He is thrilled to be working with Kirsten and Susan again on this terrific production of Jacques Brel. John has just finished stage managing Second Stage Theatre Company's production of Proposals at the New Rep Theatre in Newton. Prior to that, he was working downtown at the Boston Center for the Arts, and at Turtlelane Playhouse in Newton. John has also worked at Lyric Stage, New Rep, Wheelock Family Theatre, Vokes Theatre, and for community theatres in Arlington, Belmont, Concord, Lexington, Newton, Waltham, Wellesley, Acton, Boxborough,....
