Shawna O'Brien

Shawna is thrilled to be making her debut with the Concord Players and honored to be part of such a talented cast and crew. Shawna has been involved in the theater since her parents got tired of watching her nightly performances in their living room. She also studied voice at the New England Conservatory of Music.

Some favorite past roles include Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Claire in Proof, Lola in Damn Yankees, and the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods. Shawna has also choreographed productions of Grease, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and most recently, Schoolhouse Rock Live.

She would like to thank her family and friends, especially her parents, Debbie, Mary, Renee, Georgia and Wonka for all their support. A big "Thank You" to the cast and crew for all the laughs and all the hard work, especially Mario for giving her this opportunity. Very special thanks to FBW for always picking her up and putting her back together and for showing her HOW. Shawna lives in Lowell with her two incredibly fabulous kitties, Gus and Maggie. She would like to dedicate this performance to her dear friend Brian who is watching from the best seat in the house.
