Jake Egan O’Hara


Jake is absolutely thrilled to be returning to Concord Players, and to be collaborating with Charlie on this fantastic production! Previously this season, Jake designed hair and makeup for Concord Players' Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, as well as their production of Drowsy Chaperone (2012 EMACT nomination) and performed and danced in their productions of Drowsy Chaperone, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and as Action in West Side Story.

Most recently, he was seen playing one of the Phantoms in Emerson Umbrella's Rocky Horror Show. Not a stranger to 51 Walden, he performs annually with Concord Youth Theatre's annual cabaret. A graduate of London's Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Jake's other recent production credits include include choreographer and costume design of Guys and Dolls at Curry College, Marketing and Public Relations for Tony winning director Diane Paulus' production of The Donkey Show at the American Repertory Theatre, and Hair/Makeup Design for Six Characters in Search of An Author, Skinwalking, Death and the King’s Horseman, Cabaret, and 12 Angry Men (Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club, American Repertory Theatre’s Experimental Theatre), Ass’t Director of Interview (Heart & Dagger Productions, BCA), and direction and design of Alexander Childrens' Theatre's The Secret Garden and Legally Blonde.

By day, Jake is the Head of Theatre at the Corwin-Russell School, where he has directed and designed multiple shows, most recently AIDA and The Producers. Many thanks to this fantastic team and cast!
