Joy is pleasantly surprised (perhaps shocked) to have gotten into this production of Les Miserables. Her last role was in Sense and Sensibility as Mrs. Ferrars for Wellesley Players in 2011. Before that, her last musical production was many many years ago--before some people in this cast were born!

When she isn't miraculously getting cast in the ensemble of a wonderful musical, Joy is a dean at Wellesley College and enjoys pottery, gardening and running. She would like to thank her wonderful husband, Robert, and daughters, Kali and Katharine, for supporting her musical endeavors and her supervisor at Wellesley, John, for his willingness to deal with his theatrical colleague and to pick up the slack for her when necessary.
