Alan Bantly

Allen Bantly (Chief, Set Construction) came to Concord Players one year ago to help work on Lend Me a Tenor. He was head of construction for The Lion in Winter and has also helped on set construction for She Loves Me and The Odd Couple.

Allen is a structural engineer with over thirty years of construction experience and loves building. Allen says that the best thing about working with the Concord Players family is the volunteer attitude. If it wasn’t for the volunteers the theatre would be hard pressed to produce the high quality of plays and musicals that it has become known for.

“I would like to thank the construction volunteers for all their help on this production but there is one volunteer I would especially like to thank and that is Frank Gill. For ten years Frank has helped as a behind the scenes builder never wanting th e lime light. So for all the head builders he has helped, a special thank you to Frank Gill.”
