Roland "Boot" Boutwell

"Boot" is a freelance itinerant naturalist who teaches and leads nature walks for Mass Audubon, The New England Wild Flower Society, The AMC, The Winchester Public Schools and other organizations. He first appeared on stage in 2007 when he recited an original poem in the Winchester Players’ production Take It To Heart.

He appeared as Dr. Bradley in The Concord Players’ production of The Man Who Came to Dinner in 2010. In 2011 he performed in two musicals: as one of the Proteans in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Burlington Players) and as Mr Mayor in Seussical, Jr

(Burlington’s Winmere Family Theater). He is grateful to be back in Concord with a cast and production team that includes many old friends and a number of new ones as well. He is grateful for all the family and friends who support him in this new passion, especially Barbara for continuing to feed him lines and just for being in his life.
