Roland "Boot" Boutwell Boot is a freelance itinerant naturalist who teaches and leads nature walks for the Mass Audubon society, The New England Wild Flower Society, the Winchester Public Schools and other organizations. He first appeared on stage when he recited an original poem in the Winchester Players production Take It To Heart in 2007. His only other appearance on stage was also with the Winchester Players where he played The Radio Technician and a Deputy in The Man Who Came to Dinner in November of 2009. His hobbies include canoe camping, hiking, travel and photography. He is very thankful to the casts and crews of both productions of TMWCTD for all of their encouragement and support. He is particularly grateful to Suzanne for inviting him to Dinner in Winchester, to Tom and Leslie for encouraging him to audition for Dinner in Concord and especially to Barbara for rehearsing as Whiteside to his Bradley and just for being in his life.
