She last appeared in Acme Theater’s Don’t Dress For Dinner as Jaqueline and also played Mama in the EMACT award winning ‘Night Mother at Acme. She has also appeared in Wonder and Rye’s productions of Sin and The Dining Room at Emerson College, and as Lady Capulet in the New Hampshire Shakespeare Festival’s production of Romeo and Juliet. At New York University Ann performed under the direction of Obie-award winner Ralph Lee in Ionesco’s Jack, Or the Submission and also was seen in The Goddess Garden, a self-scripted women’s theater project. She wrote a one-woman piece entitled Robert Service . . .and Me and performed it in numerous national parks and at the Festival of the Lakes in the Adirondacks. Other favorite roles include Adelaide in Guys n’ Dolls for which she was awarded Best Actress; The Prince in The Little Prince (national tour); Nellie in Some Enchanted Evening; Suzy in Wait Until Dark; and Anita in West Side Story. Ann would like to thank her husband Paul for his support and care-taking of their 6-month old, Darcy. |
