Kate Clarke Kate played the role of Jo in the 1992 Little Women production and is happy to be back as assistant director under Dorothy Schecter. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Arts from Brandeis University and has been a director with the Commonwealth Shakespeare Program in their outreach efforts in Charlestown, as well as acting in their productions on Boston Common .

She had leading roles in the Boston area in House of Blue Leaves (at Middlesex School), Dancing at Lughnasa, the Cherry Orchard, and The Rainmaker.

Like Joe March, Kate grew up in Concord as part of a family of four daughters and began her acting career with living room productions. She has gone on to appear in student shows at the University of Wisconsin and harvard University. She has performed the roles of Desdemona in Othello, Mrs. Alving in Ibsen's Ghosts, and Nancy in Oliver.

Kate has studied acting with prominent resident aqctor, Jeremy Geidt, at the American Repertory Theatre as well as with area director, Michael Allosso.
