Arthur Finstein

Art has been involved in musical theater since age 14 when he was recruited to play piano for his camp counselors' production of My Fair Lady and spent four weeks taking the music off the record by ear! He's been hooked ever since. Art's first show with the Players was HMS Pinafore. His credits elsewhere number more than 100 and include A Little Night Music, Company, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Other credits include the first non-Equity production of La Cage Aux Folles, and widely acclaimed presentations of The Threepenny Opera with Christopher Reeve, A Chorus Line with Robert Lupone, Me and My Girl with Bruce Adler, On Your Toes with Lara Teeter, Funny Girl, A Little Night Music, Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof, ...

With 2 degrees from Brandeis University, Art was a Massachusetts Music educator for 32 years, is a sought-after music-director and lecturer, and is loving his latest role as a new grandpa. He affectionately dedicates his performance in this special show to his wife, Lois, his inspiration and truly very “Dear Friend.”
