(Lighting Design & Execution) Bruce has been involved with community theatre since moving to the area from Maine over 30 years ago, mostly at Theatre III in Acton where he is on the Board of Directors. He has done lighting design, special effects, audio, stage crew, producing and a raft of other backstage activities. Chicago was his first lighting design for the Players in 2003. Since then he has designed lights for The Importance of Being Earnest in 2005, The Odd Couple in 2007, Hay Fever in 2008, Cabaret and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in 2009, Crossing Delancey in 2010 and now Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Bruce is a retired test engineer and lives in Boxborough with his wife, Deborah. He has worked as a technical consultant to area school and ballet productions. “I've really enjoyed working with the talented staff at the Players. I've learned a lot and feel they represent the very best in community theatre.”
