Craig Howard

Craig has performed major roles with over a dozen local New England community theatre companies in the last 30+ years, but he is ALWAYS happiest at his home base with the Concord Players, where he last appeared as King Arthur in Spamalot! Some of his past CP performances include The Sound of Music (Max), Mister Roberts (Doc), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Andre Thibault), She Loves Me (Sipos), The Drowsy Chaperone (Underling) and 1776 (Samuel Chase).  He recently played Tevye in Fiddler On The Roof with the Colonial Chorus Players of Reading, and Gomez Addams in The Addams Family Musical at Acton’s Theatre III.

Craig was honored to receive a nomination as Best Supporting Actor for the Burlington Players’ production of Radium Girls (Winner for Best Play) at the 2013 national competition for the American Association of Community Theatre.  He is also very proud to have received the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in the Lexington Players' Spring Awakening at the 2015 New England Regional Festival!

Craig continues to serve happily on the CP Board of Directors as chairperson of the Play/Director Selection Committee. By day, he performs as a happily retired public school Speech-Language Pathologist, has performed at his local cable TV station in recreations of old radio dramas, and is enjoying life in the wilds of North Billerica with his wife, Jamie, and their sweet doggy, Pepper.

And what a joy it is to be working with this cast and crew!  Thank you to the production staff for letting me be a part of this beautiful, powerfully emotional show!
