Paul Murphy Paul is excited to be back directing at the Concord Players. He was most recently seen on stage as Harry Pepper in the Players’ production of Barefoot in the Park. Recent directing credits include Women in Jeopardy for the Burlington Players, 9 to 5 for the Arlington Friends, and Moon Over Buffalo for the Quannapowitt Players (EMACT nomination). This winter, he will be directing Dearly Beloved for QP. Other directing credits include: Dinner with Friends (Concord), The Man Who Came to Dinner (Concord), You Can’t Take It with You(QP), All Night Strut(QP), The Last Night of Ballyhoo(QP), and Curtains (AFD). Paul has been seen onstage locally in a variety of roles, including the Captain in The Sound of Music, Bill in August Osage County, Horace Vandergelder in The Matchmaker, Lennie in Rumors, Felix in The Odd Couple, the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance, the Count in Fools, the Inspector in Mousetrap, Billy in Anything Goes, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Harry in Once Upon a Mattress. Paul was co-chair of the Players 100th Anniversary Committee and serves on the Players’ Board of Directors.
