Jean English

Jean began her Community Theater experience with the Falmouth Theatre Guild on Cape Cod as an actress. She had many leading roles, but her favorites were Elvira in "Blithe Spirit," Sally Cato McDougal in "Auntie Mame," Tuptim in "The King and I," and the title role in "Jane Eyre." Upon her arrival in Acton, she came to the Player's with a friend and has been a member ever since playing Ann Mulcahy in "Hogan's Goat" and Sister Anderson in "Whose Life is it Anyway?" I addition she has produced "You Can't Take it With You," "Rashomon," "The Royal Family" and "Stepping Out." Being a Fosse fan she is very excited to be one of the Producers for "Chicago."
