Tom Sikina

Tom Sikina has contributed to local community theater since 1997, when his daughter began appearing in local ballet productions. What began as a simple interest in seeing community adults and young folks pull together has developed into largely a second career, all of it a free contribution to various ballet and theater companies. From the depths of "back stage support," Tom has moved on to set construction leader, set designer, assistant stage manager, and stage manager for Commonwealth Ballet Co., Massachusetts Youth Ballet Co. and Concord Players. The list of productions supported is long, and includes ballets such as The Nutcracker, The Secret Garden, The Nightingale, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, and many more.

Tom is supported in these efforts by his family, and his son Luke often helps with set construction. Tom also works for the Raytheon Co. as a communication system engineer specializing in phased arrays during his other life.
