Charlie Streff

Appearing in the ensemble, this is the sixth production for the Concord Players that Charlie has been a part of.  He last appeared as the Rev. John Witherspoon in 1776.  He would like to acknowledge and thank his lifetime dancing partner and real life Cinderella, Maureen, for her support and backstage cheering.

In his fifth production with the Concord Players, having most recently played "Papa" in "Little Women." he was honored to be involved with this talented cast and thankful to Kirsten for staging this rousing piece of Americana.

When I am not enlivening the Reverend John Witherspoon to find the Continental Congress and then serve during the momentous discussions, I am a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Acton and the consulting psychologist for The Fenn School in Concord. I have been a history fan all of my life and am enjoying being part of this well-crafted reenactment of a critical part of our country's legacy.

My thanks to my daughter-in-law Marlene for her ongoing encouragement, to my son Jon (a serious scholar and teacher of American history) for helping me research my character, to my daughter Meg for inspiring my to return to theater after a 25 year hiatus, and to my wife Maureen for her laughter, support, and many hours of patience while I lobby way back in 1776.
