Charlie has been active in the Concord players for more than ten years. He has acted, directed, produced, headed the make-up crew, worked on the set building crew, and served on the board of directors.
Charlie spent the 1970's in New York as a professional actor. His theatrical credits ran the gamut from Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard's "The Real Inspector Hound" to e.e. cummings' "Santa Claus." to Christopher Isherwood's, "I Am a Camera."He also appeared in a smattering of soap operas and in radio and TV commercials.
Charlie considers his blindingly sensitive performance in a Mail Pouch Chewing Tobacco commercial to be the pinnacle of his career. He is also proud to have served as a member of the National Board of Directors of the Screen Actor's Guild and to have been a waiter at Sardi’s. |
