Julio Gomez

Julio Gomez (Oscar Madison) was last seen on the Concord Players stage as Franz in Sunday in the Park with George, the highly-acclaimed 2004 production.

After graduating from Princeton, where he appeared in numerous stage productions, he took the very un-Ivy League approach of heading to New York to pursue acting full time, attending the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. There he received outstanding training that was useless to him as a waiter, so he took a "break" from acting. For the next twenty years, he was lead singer in a rock band, Wall Street trader, Internet entrepreneur, and Cuba explorer until the summer of 2004 when, while acting in a Concord Youth Theatre production of Pinocchio with his daughters, the actor inside him was reawakened.

He is so impressed with his experience of working with the director, cast, and crew of The Odd Couple that he is seriously considering going back to waiting tables….

He lives in Concord with his beloved wife Carla and their three awesome, stage-savvy kids: Eliza, Olivia, and Max.
