William F. Kussin

This is Fritz's second time playing the role of "Mr. Dashwood." The first performance with The Players for Fritz was in "Lysistrata." He also played the role of Howie (the milkman) Newsome in "Our Town." Fritz is the great grandson of Anna Alcott Pratt (Meg) .He recently decided that this is actually the third time he has been on stage in a "Little Women" production.

Fritz and his wife own Kussin's Children's & Junior Shop, a fifty-three-year-old family business in Concord. Fritz has a direct link with the history of the production of Little Women and with the Alcott family. Fritz's mother and uncle are the grandchildren of Anna Alcott Pratt, the "real" Meg and older sister of Louisa May Alcott. His mother, Louisa Alcott Kussin, played her own grandmother, "Meg" in the 1932 production, while his uncle, Bronson Alcott Pratt, played Mr. March.
